Look at What We Can Build When We Work Together!
- It's all about (quick, quick) collaboration.
- Wiki as Whiteboard.
- Hacking Wikipedia
Wikis I've Made
- A wiki for all math students at DMCI to write their own solutions manual. (An idea that hasn't taken off yet.)
- A wiki for teacher's from all over the world to share best teaching practices, the BPRIME wiki.
- A wiki for coordinating all events and activities in my department; the DMCI Math Dept. Wiki.
Other Wikis in Education
- EduWikipedia. Educators everywhere collaborating to make it easier for everyone to learn all about web 2.0 tools and pedagogy.
- SupportBlogging! wiki. SupportBlogging! has been set up to provide an opportunity for students, teachers, administrators, parents, and others to help promote an understanding of the benefits of educational blogging.
- The Holocaust Wiki Project (Kids made this; very powerful learning and teaching here.)
- Paul Alison, a teacher from New York, transparently discusses and illustrates how his students wiki.
- Several of Viki Davis' classes (math and computer science) use this wiki. (Camilla, Georgia)
- Clarence Fisher's Social Studies wiki made by his grade 7 and 8 students. (Snow Lake, Manitoba; yup, one of our own!)
- Jean-Claude Bradley's Organic Chemistry wiki. (Jean-Claude is a professor at the University of Drexel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.)
- TikiWiki for Education, check this out for more wiki ideas.
- Wikispaces.com has made a special platform for educators, if you wiki, you may want to use their Wikispaces for Teachers.
- Rob Lucas maintains The Teacher's Lounge (soon migrating over here). A repository of lesson plans and resources for teachers at all levels in all disciplines. WOW!
- Bud Hunt maintains a Blogging Resources Wiki, full of really great stuff!

Free Wiki Hosts
- PB Wiki, as "easy as making a peanut butter sandwich."
- Wikispaces. They have a very cool blog integration tool.
- XWiki.com, has some cool tools integrated like a blog, a presentaion tool and a calendar tool. Also has excellent RSS support (mind you, most other wikis do too.)
- Schtuff.com has a few really nice features like tagging, custom permissions, and an image gallery.
- Seedwiki, you don't need to know HTML or to memorize special wiki codes for formatting your pages. If you can create documents in Word you can create pages here.
